7 against 7
Seven players a side instead of eleven
Where ordinary football is eleven against eleven, we play with seven: six outfield players and one keeper. Substitutions are unlimited, so everyone gets on the pitch.
Amp Football Belgium
Amp Football Belgium
Football with an amputation or a limb difference. Everyone is welcome: young or old, men or women, with or without football experience. From recreational level to the international top.
Never played football? That is fine too. You are welcome to just come and try.
Who we are
Watching people chase a ball on crutches is not an everyday sight. Yet that is exactly what happens here: the same ball, the same pressure, the same joy after a goal.
Amp Football Belgium brings people with an amputation or limb difference back to the country’s most popular sport. At a club nearby, in the new Belgian league and with the national team at international tournaments.
UEFA recognised amputee football in 2015. The RBFA followed and recognised the sport in Belgium too.
What is amputee football?
We play 7 against 7, not 11 against 11. The sport has its own rules, but despite them it feels like ordinary football.
The full rulebook is published by the World Amputee Football FederationWho is this for?
Do you have an amputation or a limb difference? Then you can play. There is no selection at the door and no minimum level. For one player it is about moving, having fun and belonging to a group. For another it leads to competition, the national team or the international top.
On this pitch only what you do with the ball counts.
Give everyone at least one chance to try Amp Football.
From youth to adults. From recreational football to the international top level.

Youth & women
Young players, parents, girls and women: amputee football is for you as well.
Youth
A dedicated youth programme with its own training sessions and junior camps. Playing, falling, getting back up and above all: belonging. Parents are always welcome to stay and ask questions.
Women
Women play, simply as part of the team. On top of that there are separate women’s camps, in Ghent among other places, where you can start in a group that feels safe. Never played football? That is the usual starting point.
